Join the team Move for Water 2024

For thousands of communities around the world, water scarcity is a daily struggle that perpetuates conflict and injustice. Women and girls frequently spend hours each day collecting water for their families, leaving them vulnerable to gender-based violence and cutting them off from opportunities to support their families and make change in their communities. Children miss out on opportunities to receive an education, trapping their families in the cycle of poverty.

At H2O4all, we believe that promoting safe water access is the first step to erasing these injustices. In 2024, we’re calling on our supporters to help us make the world a better place – one drop at a time.

Move for Water is a nationwide campaign to promote global safe water access by raising support for sustainable safe water initiatives. We’re calling on friends and supporters from coast to coast to help us by creating their own virtual fundraisers. You can create your own team of family and friends and pick your own way to move, whether that’s walking, running, swimming, or your own choice. The money you raise will go towards H2O4ALL’s safe water initiatives, bringing water-stressed communities around the world closer to empowerment.

On August 10th, 2024, we’re celebrating H2O4ALL’s anniversary with our first-ever national Move for Water event. A group of volunteers will be gathering from all across Canada to celebrate H2O4ALL’s anniversary and promote awareness of global water scarcity. And we’re hoping that our friends and followers across the world will save the date to join us.

To learn more, you can follow our social media pages on World Water Day. We’ll be sharing more information on the campaign, including videos from our volunteers, news about the National event, and a guide to starting your very own Move for Water fundraiser. Join us to combat global water scarcity and change the world, one drop at a time!
